End User Licence Agreement

What you may do with the software itself.

Last updated: 4 August 2026

Grant

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Display Upscale on the number of devices your tier allows, for as long as your licence is valid.

The command-line interface is separately released under the MIT licence and is not restricted by this agreement. The full text ships with the source.

Restrictions

You may not redistribute, resell or sublicense the application or a licence key; remove or alter licence checks or notices; or use a key you did not obtain lawfully.

You may decompile or reverse engineer only to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.

Ownership and updates

We retain all rights in the software. This is a licence, not a sale of the software itself.

Updates within the version range your licence covers are included. A perpetual licence covers the major version it was bought for and every update to it.

Termination

This licence ends if you breach it, or when a subscription lapses. The application does not delete anything when that happens — it returns to the Free tier and your settings remain on your Mac.
